New Summit Charter Academy is a tuition-free, non-profit public charter school proudly serving families in Academy School District 20, as well as communities within and around Districts 11, 20, and 49—including the vibrant Briargate area of Colorado Springs.

Since opening our doors in 2018 with more than 500 students in grades K–6, we have grown thoughtfully and intentionally, expanding one grade level each year. Today, we are proud to serve students from preschool through 8th grade, providing a nurturing and academically rigorous environment that equips children for success in high school and beyond. Plans are already in motion as we work toward expanding into a full K–12 institution in the near future.

Our preschool program, available for children ages 3–5, lays a strong foundation for early learning and social development, ensuring students are ready for the transition into kindergarten. For families seeking flexibility, we offer kindergarten classes tailored to different needs, along with Before and After School Care to support working parents.

At New Summit, we believe in fostering academic excellence, character development, and community engagement—empowering every student to reach new heights.
