Stacie was born in Savannah, Georgia, raised in Atlanta. She was a military spouse and traveled often until she settled down with her family in Atlanta, Georgia. She then attended Kennesaw State University where she received her B.A. in Elementary Education PK–5th. Stacie began her career in the Inner City public schools in Atlanta where she taught 4th grade. After seeing the many struggles with Literacy her students’ endured, she pursued her Reading Endorsement. As a result, she started a free tutoring program for all her students because she believes that Literacy is the foundation of all education.
After teaching for over five years, Stacie and her family relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she continued her career in education. After ten years in the classroom, she transitioned into Learning Services, working with educational staff to ensure all students meet grade-level standards and become more successful.
