I was born in Michigan but, as an Air Force brat, moved almost immediately to New York, England, Georgia, Nevada, and finally, New Mexico. After graduating high school in New Mexico, I attended New Mexico State University and studied criminal justice. After moving to Texas, I attended The University of Texas at El Paso and received my paralegal certification. I spent the next 18+ years working in the legal field as a litigation paralegal. I left the legal field in 2023, intending to find a career where I could be of more service to my community. I began working at a charter high school in Colorado Springs and then moved to
New Summit Charter Academy as the Registrar.
My husband and I were high school sweethearts in New Mexico who reconnected in Colorado after ten years apart. We share two adult children and two dogs. We enjoy spending time together as a family, especially watching movies and hanging out at our cabin in Leadville. I am very excited to be a part of the New Summit family and look forward to serving you and your children to the best of my abilities.
