About Me
Rob is Philadelphia, born and raised on a football field, where he spent most of his days. He became a Coloradan when the Army stationed him at Fort Carson. While serving, Rob met his wife, Jeanne, who convinced him to give up big-city life for the Rocky Mountains. Now he is a mountain-loving, back road driving, redneck country boy... who still lives and dies with how the Eagles do on Sunday! He has three adult daughters, 2 of whom are also teachers (one you may know!) as a 1st time Grandfather and loves the Grandpa life. When not teaching or coaching multiple sports here at NSCA, you can find him and his wife camping and working on their retirement property in Rye, Colorado.
After serving in the Army, Rob became an Architectural Designer for a Colorado Springs home builder. Looking for a new challenge, he started his own custom residential design firm and completed many design-build homes. Teaching called on him late in life, and being an educator has been his most incredible professional experience. If it is not already clear, Rob does not act his age and does not take himself seriously. However, he takes the art of teaching very seriously and strives to turn out critical-thinking academics!
