Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I am excited to be a part of the New Summit Charter Academy Community and assist the 5th-grade team. I grew up in Oakland, CA, and moved to Colorado Springs when I was 16. I love working with children and watching them grow in learning and who they are. I have worked with children off and on since I was 16 years old, including as a substitute teacher here at New Summit. I have been married to Chris for 23 years, the love of my life. I have four children ranging in age from 19 years to 6 years, two of which attend New Summit. I love to dance, sing, and hike for fun. What I enjoy and value most is spending time with my family.
