Hello, my name is Emily Reddix. I look forward to teaching and, working with families who strive for better education for their children and working with challenging behaviors, and finding solutions that work. I strive to promote and foster positive self-esteem and individual development towards physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. I also want to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with the students in my class their families, and fellow teachers.
As a creative, enthusiastic, innovative, and outgoing person, I want to continue to nurture, inspire, uplift, encourage, and be a positive influential role model for our young children and our youth. As an advocator and educator with international and cross-cultural experiences, I believe children must establish a nurturing and trusting relationship with their teachers. A child that is secure in their primary relationship is a child who is likely to be comfortable exploring and learning in new environments.
I have 15+ years of experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher, I’m Director Certified, and currently working on my BA in ECE with a minor in Innovation at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. I have a passion for delivering quality education and am beyond excited to step into my new role.
