Angie has spent most of her life in Colorado Springs. She grew up going to school in District 11 and graduated from Mitchell High School and UCCS. She and her husband have been together for 28 years and celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this past summer with a vow renewal party, a trip to Rome, and a cruise around Italy and Greece.

Angie has been teaching Kindergarten for 13 years at another charter school in Colorado Springs. She is excited to begin her new journey in Kindergarten at New Summit Charter Academy this year. Although Angie does not have any kids of her own, she loves making connections with the students in her classroom, who quickly become “her kids.”

Outside of school, Angie loves Zumba, participating in all the fun runs around town, and traveling with her husband.
