Inspired by the positive changes that teachers brought into my personal and professional growth, I decided to become a teacher, aiming to inspire others to fall in love with the beauty of science and math.
A short story about myself: At 22, I left my home country in the Balkan Peninsula, Macedonia, seeking a more adventurous life in the USA. For the first seven years, I called New York home. During the first five years, I earned my dual bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from St. Joseph in Brooklyn, NY. I then spent the last two years teaching math and engineering at Archbishop Stepinac High School.
Currently, I am working towards my master's degree in Data Science and Machine Learning at Johns Hopkins University. Due to my husband's military service, we had to relocate to Colorado Springs, where we quickly fell in love with every minute spent there. Who would have thought living in the mountains could offer 300 sunny days and breathtaking scenery daily? Life has a funny way of taking unexpected turns, and I'm excited to be part of the
