NSCA is conducting a Board of Directors Search

New Summit Charter Academy Board of Directors has announced it is accepting applications for a recently vacated board seat. Interested individuals can apply online through April 1, 2024, at 3 PM (application will go live on March 1st).

The announcement came after former President Eric Davis resigned at the 2023 Board Meeting.

Following the Board Interest Meeting on February 28th, we will accept applications and then follow an interview process for all candidates.

Timeline

Steps to be Taken

2/28/24 BOD Interest Meeting –  After school in the Atrium at 4:30 PM
3/1/24 Open Applications on the Website
Candidates must:

  • Apply with
    • Resume
    • 3 References
    • Written response:  “Why do you want to be on the NSCA Board?”
  • Disclosure of any other boards, committees, businesses and non-profits
  • Disclosure of all social media platforms/social media check
  • Tour the school with the Executive Director and Admin Team on the assigned date
  • Attend BOD meeting as an observer on 2/7, 3/6 or 4/10
  • Review of NSCA’s BOD Agreement

DEADLINE: 4/10/24

 
4/1/24 Close applications on the website at 3 PM
4/18/24 Finalists will be notified
4/24/24 Finalist Interviews
5/15/24 Board votes on new Board Member
5/16/24 All notifications
6/8/24 BOD Retreat and seating of new members and positions.
