Kindergarten Enrollment

The New Summit Charter Academy admissions process has multiple steps and we recognize and appreciate that this may be a new experience for you. The steps to enrollment have been implemented with care and concern for both our current and future students and we welcome any comments or questions you may have during this process.

We accept students from all districts, however, we give priority to those in this order:

  • Founding Families
  • Staff Children
  • Siblings of Currently Enrolled Students
  • D20 Residents

Eligible students will be considered for admission on a first-come, first-serve basis and without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, religion, ancestry, or gender.

New Summit Charter Academy accepts students for Kindergarten with the exception of children who have been expelled from their previous school or have other pending disciplinary or truancy issues. NSCA may also admit students who have previously declined enrollment or dis-enrolled on a case-by-case basis.

New Summit Charter Academy reserves the right to decline enrollment to students if false, misleading or incomplete information is included on the enrollment documents. NSCA also reserves the right to deny enrollment requests from students residing outside the Academy School District 20 when such enrollment would have a negative impact on the efficient use of district and school resources.

PLEASE NOTE:  Attending Diakonia Preschool does not guarantee you a spot at New Summit. Diakonia is not enrolled with Academy District 20 and they are our THIRD PARTY PROVIDER.
