Love of Learning Gala

The biggest event of the year!

The Love of Learning Gala was designed as a fun night out for those 21+ in both our local and school community. The purpose is to raise money that will have a direct impact on the needs of our school. This event is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year. 

Proceeds of the night will go toward the following items:

  • A Combi Oven for the School Cafeteria
  • A Kiln for the School Art Room
  • More Dictionaries for Students
  • Leveled Books for Small Group Instruction
  • More Equipment for the School Health Room
  • A Washer & Dryer to be Used by the School Health Room

The event will take place at the beautiful Historic Pinecrest in Palmer Lake, CO. When driving to the venue, watch for venue signage right off of Hwy 105.

  • Heads & Tails: $20/strand up to 2 per person.
  • Wine Pull: $10/pull with a guaranteed prize with each play.

  • 4:00 PM – V.I.P. Admittance (Swag Bags, Drinks, Appetizers, Silent Auction, Wine Pull, Bead Sales and Photos)
  • 5:00 PM – General Admission Admittance  (Drinks, Silent Auction, Wine Pull, Bead Sales and Photos)
  • 6:30 PM – Dinner

Semiformal or Cocktail Attire Suggested.

New Summit Charter Academy is a non-profit, tuition-free, public, charter school located within Academy District 20. 

A buffet-style dinner will be provided by Mission Catering.

A virtual silent auction is available via QR Code. The Silent Auction will go “live” on March 8th, 2020, at 12:00 PM. To use the QR code open your camera app and put it over the code. A link will appear. Click on the link to view the Silent Auction. Happy Bidding!

Silent Auction baskets will be displayed at the event. Bidding will close during the event at 6:45 P.M.  All items will need to be picked up the night of the event. Large auction items are available for delivery the next day ONLY with a $100 donation paid upon checkout the night of the event.

The following Live Auction items will be available:

  • A 30-yard roll-off dumpster
  • A Colorado Ski Chair
  • 1-night luxury suite at the Rocky Mountain Vibes – (up to 14 people may attend)
  • An 8-day, 7-night trip to Mexico (Airfare not included. Please click here for terms & conditions)
