Our senior staff has over 50 years of combined experience with each of us having multiple certifications needed for before and after school care.
Prodigy Childcare is a small company which can accommodate changes to any environment big or small. If needed we will provide additional staff to meet the changing needs of your families at your school. After meeting any of our staff you will notice immediately how much we love the children.

Our motto is “Helping your child find their inner genius.”
We achieve this by tailoring our program to the needs, goals, and management style of your school. The program is an extension of the school that provides self-guided learning through daily activities, a healthy snack, continued character building and mentor guided homework time.
From creative and constructive arts, to literacy and math, we plan to provide activities that enhance the child’s many interests. Using a variety of learning styles, we have the ability to offer activities including those focused on S.T.E.A.M. development, problem and inquiry based learning and real world child directed pursuits. We work alongside the teachers and the parents to provide an environment that will exceed expectations while never leaving the safety of school property.
We will be open from 6:30 am until school starts and then after school until 6:00 pm.
The short answer is, YES! You will sign up prior to the week of care and then can change your schedule. (keeping the same number of days scheduled) if need be. We will allow you to exchange dates of service within the same week. We are very flexible and willing to work with you as long as you communicate.
Prodigy will be closed for major holidays but will be at New Summit on all breaks, teacher/testing days and any planned early dismissals. We plan to have summer camp available for summer 2019.
We will work with New Summit Charter School to keep all staff and children safe. If the district has a delay, we will also have a delay if needed. If all parties concerned feel that it is safe to attend the New Summit location on any emergency delay or call off, then we will have care available on a day by day basis.

Prodigy Childcare LLC was founded in 2017 by Colorado native, Amber Gibbs. After three years in college Amber decided to take a break and go back into a field working with children, her one true calling. While working in this field she discovered that not many corporations balance the needs of the family and the needs of the school with the company’s bottom line. Amber wanted to provide a quality before and after school program that would work in conjunction with individual schools to meet the needs of parents, staff and children. She is now married with a child of her own and managing 2 locations of her new business.
Ms. Claire our Site Director, has been in the United States for 18 years and is originally from Harrogate, England. She has been working in child care for 21 years and has two children one in college and one who is a senior at Sand Creek High School. She also has some adorable fur babies named Boomer and Bangers. Claire is the Site Director and will be at New Summit morning and afternoon full time.
Ms. Paula has been working in child care for over 30 years. She moved from Indiana to Colorado in 2011 and got married 3 years ago. She will be at the site as an educational assistant as she looks forward to retirement from full time employment. Paula will continue helping with purchasing, special events, snack, and stepping in when needed.
As parents, we all know some of the basic skills students will learn in kindergarten, such as reading, writing, shapes, and numbers. But there is
To build a safe educational community that emphasizes a love of learning, and inspires and empowers students to reach New Summits.
