We hope that you and your students have had a great summer so far and have had a chance to relax! Here at the school, we have been working hard to prepare for the new school year and know that no matter what happens, it will be a great one!
While we do not have all the back-to-school documents and events confirmed, we wanted to give you a head-start on school supplies, and a few other things you may want to purchase now. As summer progresses we will update this page when we have new information. Thank you for your patience.
For any questions regarding back-to-school, please email our Communications Coordinator at Kathryn.Sneed@newsummitcharter.org, thank you!
School Supply Lists & Student Fees
The Board of Directors of New Summit Charter Academy has established the overarching dress code policy guidance in JICA-B-NSCA. The elementary and middle school uniform policy, JICA-E-NSCA, is an essential distinction of the NSCA academic culture. Note: Please read the Student Handbook for rules regarding uniform enforcement and violation.
If your student has medical conditions (such as seizures, life-threatening allergies, asthma, diabetes and/or requires services such as medication at school, G-tube feedings, tracheotomy care, etc.) a separate health plan and a health care provider’s orders are required to be updated every school year. Please contact the school nurse (Sharon.Begin@newsummitcharter.org) for specific instructions and required forms to be completed in place by the first day of school.
- Asthma Care Plan – For those with Asthma
- Colorado Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Plan and Medication Orders – For those with Severe Allergies
- Seizure Action Plan – Coming Soon!
- Diabetes – Please notify the school nurse prior to school starting if your child has Type 1 Diabetes.
