The Board of Directors of New Summit Charter Academy has established the overarching dress code policy guidance in JICA-B-NSCA. The elementary and middle school uniform policy, JICA-E-NSCA, is an essential distinction of the NSCA academic culture.
NOTE: If your student has medical conditions (such as seizures, life-threatening allergies, asthma, diabetes and/or requires services such as medication at school, G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, etc.) a separate health plan and health care provider’s orders are required to be updated every school year. Please contact the school nurse for specific instructions and required forms to be completed in place by the first day of school.
- Asthma Care Plan – For those with Asthma
- Colorado Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Plan and Medication Orders – For those with Severe Allergies
- Seizure Action Plan – For those with Seizures
- Diabetes – Please notify the school nurse prior to school starting if your child has Type 1 Diabetes.
Only fees referenced and approved per Policy JQ-NSCA may be levied. Certain fees may be reduced or
waived for students eligible for free or reduced-price meals under federal poverty income guidelines if a
current “Information Release” form is on file authorizing sharing of student eligibility. Application and
information regarding the free and reduced-price meal program can be obtained by calling the Academy
School District 20 Free and Reduced Meal Registrar at 719-234-1416 or email@example.com.
For information regarding specific fees, please contact the school office.
FEES IDENTIFIED ARE MANDATORY FOR PARTICIPATION. PARTICIPATION MAY BE VOLUNTARY
To pay these fees, you may send or bring in a check, pay with cash, or pay with card in person on our back-to-school night or call 719-749-4011 to pay over the phone.
