Frequently Asked Questions
How does the game work? There are 4 age groups: 0 – 3 years, 4 – 7 years, 8 – 12 years, and 12 – 18 years (12-year-olds may choose between the Children’s game and the Teen game). Once a child is enrolled and gets a game card, they can start. The game runs from June 1 – July 31.
How do participants win prizes? The game is set up so that prizes can be won entirely by reading, or by a combination of reading and completing activities. There are three levels, each with its own prize. Upon program completion, the participant will also have their name entered into the Grand Prize drawing.
What’s different about this year’s bonus level? This year, participants have the opportunity to complete four bonus reading-only levels. Each bonus level completion gets the participant’s name entered into the Grand Prize drawing again, for a total of up to 5 entries into the drawing (1 entry for program completion, and up to 4 additional bonus level entries). And this year’s Grand Prizes are REALLY, REALLY great!

As a literacy-first school, we encourage our students to read a lot over the summer. This program is a great way to do that and to keep up with those reading skills that were learned over the course of the school year. We can’t wait to see how each students’ reading improves!
